Inhaler Live: The ‘My Honest Face’ Music Video
Dublin’s groundbreaking post-punk collective Inhaler now have a live music video to accompany their grungy single ‘My Honest Face’!
It was shot by Noel’s daughter Anaïs Gallagher (who is making a name for herself as a photographer/videographer) as well as Glenn Hanstock (The Courteeners – ‘No One Will Ever Replace Us’) and Sam Hannigan (Inhaler – ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’), and edited by Jack Ridley.
The single was originally released in May and has received mass plays from the likes of BBC Radio 1, 2 and 6 Music as well as Radio X.
Inhaler are firmly cementing their name as one of 2019’s most exciting new bands as they’ve taken their motherland by storm with only a handful of originals so far, and are already destined to be legacies in their own right. Elijah Hewson (vocals/rhythm guitar), Josh Jenkinson (lead guitar), Robert Keating (bass) and Ryan McMahon (drums) actually came together in 2012 when the teenagers were still in school, but only three years later did they consider it a genuine career option as they realised their love for creating hazy post-punk overshadowed doing their homework. This has developed into their own category of dirty bass lines, pounding rhythms and infectious melodies infused with psychedelic soundscapes that have captivated audiences across the UK.
